About the job PART-671: iOS Developer

Project/Client: Banking
Location: Baltic states and Poland (Remote)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: 30 -38 EUR per hour
Language: English (B2+)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer to join a team working on a native banking application. The role involves building and maintaining features within a highly modularized multi-module architecture using Swift and SwiftUI, following MVVM, RIB, and Clean Architecture principles. The developer will work with RESTful APIs, implement reactive patterns via Combine and Swift Concurrency, and contribute to security-focused modules including authentication, biometrics, and cryptographic signing. Collaboration across teams, code quality, and ownership mindset are key expectations for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a native iOS banking application using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Work with RESTful APIs, networking, and JSON data formats via a modular networking layer.
  • Build features within a highly modularized multi-module architecture (Tuist, Swift Package Manager) following RIB, MVVM, and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Implement reactive and asynchronous patterns using Combine and Swift Concurrency (async/await).
  • Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and user experience — including work on authentication, biometrics, device integrity, fraud checks, and cryptographic signing modules.
  • Write and maintain unit tests (SwiftTest) and use generated mocks/test-support frameworks per module.
  • Maintain high code quality, perform knowledge sharing, and take end-to-end ownership of delivered solutions.
  • Collaborate using Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane).

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proven experience in native iOS application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift; hands-on experience with SwiftUI (UIKit knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience with Combine and/or Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors).
  • Strong understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture; experience working in large, modularized codebases (Tuist, Swift Package Manager, or similar).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, and working with URLSession-based networking.
  • Understanding of dependency injection patterns and modularization principles.
  • Experience with unit testing (SwiftTest) and mocking/test-support tooling.
  • Version control proficiency with Git.
  • Good command of English (minimum B2).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane).
  • Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding practices (e.g. asymmetric cryptography, secure signing, biometric authentication).
  • Familiarity with OWASP MASVS (Mobile Application Security Verification Standard).
  • Experience with Apple Wallet / PassKit extensions.
  • Experience with code generation/templating tools (e.g. Sourcery-style mock generation).
