About the job Middle/Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Azure)
For our client, we are looking for a Middle/Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Azure) to join an AI project and strengthen cloud operations, scalability, and automation.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position for an engineer with solid Azure expertise, strong DevOps practices, and a passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable systems. You will focus on infrastructure automation, monitoring, cloud migration, and DR planning, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

2+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (App Services, AKS, Container Apps).

Familiarity with AWS or GCP is a plus.

Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containerized microservices, and architecture patterns.

Experience migrating from VMs to managed services.

Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR), RTO/RPO.

Deep understanding of Azure Policies, governance, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, security).
-
Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis and performance tuning.

Strong skills in Terraform and Ansible (preferred).

Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines.

Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog with custom metrics and advanced alerting.

Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cost optimization.

English: Upper-Intermediate+.
Responsibilities

Monitoring & Observability: Enhance Datadog monitoring, create custom metrics & real-time dashboards.

Infrastructure Optimization: Migrate VM-hosted workloads to Azure managed services; improve reliability, cost, and performance.

Automation: Build and maintain IaC with Terraform/Ansible; reduce manual operations.

Security & Compliance: Enforce Azure policies, governance, and conduct audits.

Backup & DR: Define RTO/RPO, design strategies, and maintain runbooks.

CI/CD & Release Management: Build/optimize pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines).

Cost Management: Identify and implement cloud cost-saving opportunities.

Incident Management: Handle incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document prevention measures.

Collaboration: Work closely with teams, document infrastructure, and explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
