About the role
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Salesforce Architect to join our key client's Salesforce team. This role sits at the highest level of platform strategy and technical governance - spanning enterprise customization, integration architecture, data engineering, and AI-augmented delivery. The ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, shape long-term architecture direction, and embed Generative AI and Agentic AI methodologies as a first-class practice in their daily engineering workflow.
Location - Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Brazil, Argentina (remote)
Responsibilities
- Define and govern enterprise Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and custom applications, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
- Lead advanced Salesforce customization using Apex, LWC, Flow, Platform Events, and event-driven architecture
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes
- Architect and govern integrations between Salesforce and MuleSoft, SAP, Documentum, Excalibur, GIS/ESRI, and legacy systems
- Own Salesforce data architecture, migrations, data modeling, governance, quality, and integration with Enterprise Data Platform and Data Cloud
- Architect and integrate Einstein AI, Agentforce, GenAI-enabled flows, and Agentic AI tools into Salesforce solutions and delivery processes
- Drive AI-augmented SDLC practices, establishing quality standards and measuring improvements in delivery efficiency and productivity
- Ensure platform governance, security, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and long-term platform health
- Partner with business, product, and IT stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring across onshore and offshore teams, supporting Agile delivery, testing, and overall engineering quality
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a minimum of 4 years in a Salesforce Architect capacity
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, platform events, and Salesforce platform internals
- Proven expertise in enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft or equivalent middleware (REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware patterns)
- Strong data engineering background including data modeling, ETL/ELT design, large-scale migrations, and data quality governance
- Demonstrated daily use of Generative AI and Agentic AI tools in a software delivery context with measurable productivity outcomes
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-org DevOps tooling
- Salesforce Architect certifications: Application Architect or System Architect (required); Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
- Integration Architecture Designer and Data Architecture Designer certifications strongly preferred
- Experience in regulated utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors, including NERC compliance and audit requirements, would be advantageous
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Agentforce, and Field Service Lightning is highly valued
- Hands-on experience with Windsurf, Devin, or similar Agentic AI platforms would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Documentum, Excalibur, or other enterprise content management systems is an added advantage
