About the job iOS Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a hands-on iOS Engineer to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications supporting core banking, payments, and regulated financial services. The role involves close collaboration with product, design, and backend teams to deliver robust, compliant, and user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications for secure banking and payment services
  • Translate product and regulatory requirements into clear technical solutions
  • Integrate mobile apps with payment APIs, core banking systems, and compliance platforms
  • Apply secure coding, encryption, and data protection practices
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability across iOS devices and OS versions
  • Participate in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across delivery, testing, and release processes

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift
  • Strong experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, CoreData, and modern architectures (MVVM / VIPER)
  • Experience integrating apps with RESTful APIs and secure data exchange
  • Expertise in mobile security, encryption, and secure authentication patterns
  • Familiarity with GDPR and PCI DSS
  • Proven experience in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in fintech, banking, or payments mobile applications
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022, SEPA, or other payment scheme standards
  • Background in high-availability or high-security mobile systems
