About Our Client:
They are a leading provider of [LSP suite of products], dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to mid-sized freight forwarders and customs brokers. Their solutions revolutionize the supply chain industry by leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline trade processes and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Sell their suite of products to mid-sized freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with an average deal size of $15,000 ACV and a 3-6 month cycle.
- Meet or exceed quarterly quotas, aiming to close approximately 4 deals per month to achieve a tenured quota of $200,000 ACV per quarter.
- Focus on generating 75% of the pipeline through self-generated opportunities.
- Maintain a pipeline of 3-5x quota with opportunities to close in the current quarter.
- Conduct prospecting activities to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Understand the impact of supply chain technology on trade and effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding or customs brokerage sales.
- Proficient understanding of supply chain technology and its impact on trade.
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience in SAAS sales.
- Experience with complex sales cycles and selling to multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with selling to Director-level or above.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with regulatory compliance in the freight or brokerage industry.
- Familiarity with import/export processes.
- Proficiency in hunting new logos and expanding market share.
- Demonstrated success in being promoted for high performance and receiving awards/recognition.
