Position Overview:

The Head of Finance (Director level) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the finance function for our clients entity in Vietnam. This includes financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, treasury management, tax compliance, risk management, and team leadership. Also will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and profitability by providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring sound financial management practices. The role is based in Vietnam (northern Hanoi) & relocation support is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, including internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, and risk management activities.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Drive process improvement and efficiency within the finance function.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and investors.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Master's Degree.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA or similar level) is highly regarded.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (e.g., Finance Senior Manager, Financial Controller).
  • Prior experience with multinational company in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with accountability, risk management, costing required of a public listed company and subsidiaries.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Core competencies (excellent level skills) - Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills (able to lead, develop & motivate team)
