We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Accounting Management to lead the accounting function at a prestigious foreign bank. This role is crucial for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of accounting practices in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and transactions.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity.

• Prepare and present consolidated financial statements to senior management and the board.

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor and assess financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

• Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the banking or financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of accounting regulations, compliance, and best practices.

• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.

• Understanding Mandarin is a plus.
