Our Client:
Our client is a leading company in the industrial and plant engineering sector, recognized for its expertise in process piping, tank fabrication, steel structures, and plant maintenance. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join their team.
Job Summary:
The Accounts & Finance Manager will oversee the companys financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This role demands a proactive leader with strong analytical skills and at least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, who can mentor a team and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive financial operations, including AP, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, and taxes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, audits, and tax filings.
- Provide regular financial performance analysis and data to senior management.
- Ensure timely preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts.
- Develop and monitor budgets, tracking performance against forecasts.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Plan and manage cash flow and banking facilities to support company operations.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and statutory financial requirements.
- Mentor and guide the finance team to foster skill development.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and additional duties as required by the CFO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial management and accounting within a computerized environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong self-motivation and discipline.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, MYOB, Globe3 ERP).
- Comprehensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent communication and correspondence skills.
