Position Overview:

As a Treasury Dealer, you will play a crucial role in managing FX risk across South Asia while ensuring compliance with Group policies and instructions. Your responsibilities will include executing trades, analyzing market trends, and developing innovative Treasury solutions to support the organization's objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our Treasury operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX trades to manage risk exposure across South Asia, including but not limited to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
  • Monitor market trends and economic developments to identify opportunities and risks in FX markets.
  • Develop and implement effective hedging strategies to mitigate FX risk and optimize Treasury performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Treasury management, Risk Management, and Business Units, to understand their FX requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Adhere to Group policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while executing trades and managing FX risk.
  • Collaborate with Treasury colleagues to enhance Treasury capabilities and expand product offerings.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on FX trading activities, risk exposure, and performance metrics.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Treasury Dealer or FX Trader in a financial institution, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, derivatives instruments, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
