Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our clients mission of excellence in financial training and talent development. This role demands a seasoned leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, business growth, and operational management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the financial or education/training sectors and be adept at navigating a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive and oversee daily operations, financial management, human resources, and administrative functions to achieve business goals and support strategic objectives.
- Business Model Development: Design and implement a sustainable business model to streamline operations, optimise resources, and adapt to market changes effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the company's position as a top learning and development partner by continually refining and developing quality training programs.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial structure, identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation, and ensure strong financial performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain robust networks and alliances with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices.
- Leadership and Culture: Provide strategic direction, cultivate a positive work environment, promote ethical behaviour, and drive innovation and creativity within the organisation.
- Public Relations: Serve as the company's spokesperson, enhancing the organisations credibility through media engagements and partnerships with international entities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Malaysia & Singapore regulations, maintaining high standards of financial and operational integrity.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties to align with the company's vision and objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 20 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in the financial sector and/or education/training industry.
- Skills: Demonstrated strategic planning, organisational growth, analytical thinking, and initiative execution. Strong business acumen, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced qualifications such as an M.Sc., MBA, Chartered Banker, or other relevant professional certifications are highly advantageous.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
