Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead their HR department in the financial industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of HR leadership in the financial sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulations. As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the financial institution.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  • Lead the performance management process, including setting performance standards, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing HR practices in the financial industry.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and in compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Lead and develop the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and develop strategies to address them effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role in the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations relevant to the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
