Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Foreign Bank in Malaysia is seeking a person skilled and experienced in Information Technology (IT) operations & support to join their dynamic IT division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operations support and maintenance of IT systems for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for business users on infrastructure and applications (workstations & laptops).
    • Manage and support overall IT infrastructure, applications, and daily operations.
    • Support and maintain IT equipment in server rooms, IT facilities rooms, and business users devices.
    • Support, maintain, and execute projects related to BNMs systems and applications.
    • Assist in disaster recovery tests, including systems and workstations at recovery sites.
    • Ensure IT documentation is updated regularly.
    • Support ad-hoc projects in compliance with IT standards and policies.
    • Conduct daily/weekly system health checks to ensure high availability.
    • Collaborate with regional teams for new projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
    • Participate in on-call rotations for security patching, incidents, maintenance, and system cutovers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary education in a related field.
  • At least 5 years and above of experience in IT, supporting banking applications and IT infrastructure support, including projects and business continuity/disaster recovery exercise.
  • Team player and able to work well in a diverse environment.
