About the job Business Analyst (1 Year Contract)

This role which combines both product planning and marketing to manage the entire life cycle of one project/product for customer application platforms.

You are responsible for facilitating business requirements gathering with business stakeholders, collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure high quality and smooth product delivery, as well as providing support to operation teams.

The ideal candidate should have high motivation and curiosity to constantly learn about existing and new product offerings, having innovative mindset, and able to think from business and customers perspective while providing solutions to improve the product.

The person should be skilled in product management, able to work with cross functional teams and able to prioritize different initiatives and projects.

Comfortable presenting and demoing the solution, able to articulate the solution and benefits is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements gathering:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering with business and tech stakeholders.
  • Analyze business requirements and create concise documents, for example Business Requirement Document, User Requirement or User Stories.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose potential solutions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Participate in internal testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing to ensure quality deliverables that meet business expectations.
  • Comfortable rafting simple test cases.
  • Able to identify issues and bugs, documenting / reporting them, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

Product Management:

  • Understanding the priorities and business impact of different projects and initiatives, and able to communicate them effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environment and able to anticipate change.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose potential solutions.
  • Strategic planning with team to ensure both timeline and resources are well managed.
  • High curiosity to learn our product offerings, savvy about market competitions and able to provide solutions that meet business and customers expectations.

Operations / Customer Support:

  • Support operation team on the daily operational tasks and priorities.
  • Work with tech team to support the customer service team to maintain and support customer expectations.

Collaboration:

  • Work with stakeholders from different teams: Business, Tech, Operation Support, Quality Assurance, understanding their perspective and able to communicate effectively with them.
  • Comfortable doing simple product demonstrations when required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree with 1-3 years of working experience.
  • Good to have an experience in product management role.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of product development lifecycle.
  • Business consultancy, analytical and research background.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Strong grasp of digital concepts, technology, and business models (agile experience is a plus)
  • Savvy and inherently interested in digital customer adoption and experiences.
  • A "change agent" attitude, constantly pushing boundaries to drive new opportunities, approaches, ideas, perspectives, etc.
  • Able to pull together a clear plan and roadmap in ambiguous environment or situations.
