Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize financial documents (e.g. receipts, invoices).
  • Record all financial transactions using Google Sheets and SQL accounting. software (sales, purchases, payment vouchers, etc.).
  • Post transactions to appropriate ledger accounts (accounts receivable/payable, cash, etc.).
  • Prepare trial balances to ensure debits and credits are balanced.
  • Reconcile bank statements with system records.
  • Track employee and dentist working hours (regular and overtime).
  • Calculate gross and net pay for employees and dentists (commission-based).
  • Issue paychecks by the 7th of each month.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) before the 15th.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Generate financial reports including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and financial filing requirements (e.g. WHT, CP204, Form E).
  • Support statutory audits and internal control procedures.
  • Assist directors in financial forecasting and budgeting for strategic planning.
  • Monitor profit & loss statements to support expansion and growth.
  • Oversee AP/AR processes ensuring timely payment of bills and receipt from customers.
  • Track and verify daily sales across branches against system records for accuracy.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government authorities as required.
    
    

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in a similar finance/accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SQL Accounting) and spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, CP204, etc.).
  • Experience in preparing full set of accounts and financial statements.
  • Knowledge in payroll processing, accounting principles, and reconciliation practices.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
