Our client is headquarted in the US and  has direct sales offices in North America, Europe and India and is represented in 50 countries.

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an important field sales position covering the Southeast Asia region. The specific countries to include: Malaysia, Indonesia, Viet Nam, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Cambodia and Philippines.

The initial focus for the first 6 months will be Malaysia, Indonesia, Viet Nam, Thailand and Singapore with expanding region as determined by management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Make direct sales calls to petrochemical and other liquid tank carriers, tank truck manufacturers, OEMs, major and independent petrochemical companies.
  • Cultivate the current customer base, generate and qualify new prospects, and increase revenues and profitability in the Southeast Asia market.
  • Make technical presentations to customers or at tradeshows highlighting new product offerings.
  • Prepare forecasts, sales plans and monthly travel itineraries.
  • Communicate regularly with headquarters regarding your sales activities and completion of daily call reports using CRM/Syteline reporting system.
  • Attend principal industry petroleum and chemical trade shows and conferences.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • BSEE or equivalent experience and training
  • 5-7 Years of experience with a proven track record in electronic systems sales in the liquid transport and storage industry or related field.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, self-initiating and highly motivated to cultivate existing business and generate new growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel, up to 70%
  • Valid drivers license & acceptable driving record
  • TWIC Credential or ability to obtain.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of electronic controls, monitoring and communications within liquid transfer systems for petroleum and/or chemical products.
