Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the steel industry (e.g., construction, manufacturing, infrastructure).
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  2. Technical Consultation:

    • Understand customer specifications and provide the right steel products or solutions (e.g., structural steel, flat steel, rolled products).
    • Offer technical support during the sales process, including product selection and application recommendations.
  3. Proposal and Quotation Preparation:

    • Develop detailed proposals and quotations based on customer needs.
    • Ensure accurate pricing and delivery terms.
  4. Market Analysis:

    • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands in the steel industry.
    • Identify potential growth opportunities and recommend strategies.
  5. Client Support and Follow-Up:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing post-sale support, including troubleshooting and coordinating with the technical team.
    • Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly.
  6. Product Knowledge:

    • Stay updated on different types of steel products and their applications.
    • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to address customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in technical sales or as a Sales Engineer, preferably in the steel industry.
    • Familiarity with different steel grades, manufacturing processes, and applications.
  • Skills:

    • Strong technical understanding of steel products.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
