Job Overview:

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for handling routine tax-related tasks and resolving straightforward issues related to tax accounting, reporting, planning, audits, research, and compliance. This role ensures that all tasks are completed according to all the compliances and defined procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, investigating, and reporting finance related compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
  • Ensure that businesses follow and maintain relevant industry and government regulations, laws, and policies.
  • Liaise with government agencies/authorities to provide reports and learn about upcoming guideline changes pertaining to finance related matter.
  • Conducting internal investigations and audits on finance related compliance issues.
  • Advising company leaders on finance related compliance matters.
  • Completing special/ad-hoc finance related compliance projects.
  • Any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit, tax compliance or regulatory affairs.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CTA are preferred.
  • A proven track record in managing tax matters is preferred.
