Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance General and Task Management.
  2. To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner.
  3. Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand.
  4. Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring staffs are aware and practiced by the team.
  5. Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
  6. Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer deliverables are met.
  7. Understand customer needs and ensure alignment with the needs/commitments of the business.
  8. Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilising help of the warehouse team.
  9. Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labelling of all stock items.
  10. Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
  11. Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety records.
  12. Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems.
  13. Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and that risk assessments are conducted.
  14. Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures.
  15. Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
  16. Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
  17. Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines.
  18. Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
  19. Ensure effective warehouse and distribution operations by implementing department policies and procedures.
  20. Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess on-going performance of direct reports Financial Budget and Control
  21. Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements and customer deliverables.
  22. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  23. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with department strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM Equivalent or Diploma holder
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations/customer service
  • Good in Warehouse Management System and experience with handling electronic devices such as RF scanners, Ring Scanners
  • Good in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VBA)
  • Good problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal/external customers
  • Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning
