Job Summary:

As Junior Project Manager (PM), you are responsible for planning and overseeing projects, from the initial ideation through to completion. Coordinate people and processes to deliver project on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes. Act as the bridge between Business Units and IT Team. Able to translate business idea into IT, and able to identify and mitigate risks. Strong analytical skill and system design skill, as well as deep project management skill for IT projects is a must have for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivering projects assigned on time within budget and scope.
  • Providing guidance/advice on the management of projects to the team members towards project completion.
  • Making sure projects objectives are met.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, work streams, & activities.
  • Allocate and manage resources as required by the project.
  • Stakeholders management and regular project status reporting.
  • Reviewing the outcomes of project as compare to planning phase.
  • Ensure projects assigned have all relevant documentations across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered according to plan.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in IT project management.
  • Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple groups of users while maintaining a positive and patient attitude.
  • Strong command of English and comfortable with process/functional documentation.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Organizes own workload, sets priorities and works within deadlines.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to process assignments in an efficiproent, accurate and timely manner.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to team development.
  • PMP certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Automotive Application will be an added advantage.
