Qualifications:
1. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
3. Tax working experience will be an advantage.
4. Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
5. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close
process.
6. Accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Team player, proactive, good attitude, has a good sense of responsibility and
ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
8. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
9. BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.
Job Description:
- Assist with tax audits and tax return
- Handle full sets of accounts efficiently, accurately and on a timely manner but not limited to:
- Maintain general ledger by compiling, analyzing account information and
recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses transaction. - Maintain and balance intercompany accounts by verifying, reconciling
transactions, and resolving discrepancies. - Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing
balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial reports.
E-invoice processes - Proper filling system and documentation.
- Liaise with external authorities (auditors, bankers, tax agents and respective government authorities where required).
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
- Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back up function,
business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
