They are seeking for a Business Development Executive/Manager to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth in the cloud services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify & Cultivate New Business Opportunities

  • Utilize your network and industry connections to engage potential startup customers.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline through industry events, social media, and networking.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business growth opportunities.

2. Build & Maintain Strong Customer Relationships

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key startup decision-makers.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and recommending tailored cloud solutions.

  • Continuously engage with customers to enhance satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.

3. Develop & Execute Sales Strategies

  • Create and implement effective sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling value propositions and sales collateral.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations showcasing AWS and GCP offerings.

4. Drive Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

  • Track and report sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

  • Negotiate and close deals with mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and customers.

5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with technical, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Provide feedback to product teams on customer pain points and market trends.

  • Participate in team meetings to improve sales processes and strategies.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem development, with regular engagement with C-level executives and startup founders.

  • Prior experience in the startup ecosystem, such as working with accelerators, incubators, venture capital, or private equity across local and regional markets.

  • Strong network within the startup community, with a deep understanding of the challenges and growth strategies for startups.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure) is a plus.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets while working independently or as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with at least conversational proficiency in the local language (e.g., Malay in Malaysia).
