Our Client is one of the world's leading logistics providers and has a significant presence in Malaysia. Our Client specializes in providing integrated logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, and contract logistics.

Job Description:

Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Programs:

  • Establish and implement regionally aligned programmes & frameworks that drive CL Operations performance improvement through process re-engineering to delivery efficiency and productivity benefits, standardization and application of standards, and best practice sharing.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging agreed industry-leading tools, techniques and methodologies (with a focus on business aligned LEAN, 6Sigma and Industrial Engineering approaches) to identify and implement improvements.

Leverage digitization through Business Architecture:

  • Ensure high level of Business Architecture collaboration across functions, and in particular Operations to drive efficiencies derived from digitization opportunities.
  • Set direction that supports development and execution of regional and market-specific business architecture strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the organizations overall strategic objectives.

Quality and Compliance Management:

  • Ensure the development and implementation of quality management systems and processes to meet the company's quality objectives and compliance obligations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including but not limited to, ISO 9001 and 14001, OHSAS 18001, TAPA and relevant customer and supplier quality requirements.

Coaching and Training:

  • Establish and track the functional skills matrix, conduct training needs analysis to design and deliver effective training plans across required business processes, project management disciplines, hard and soft skills, leadership, financial and commercial management, operations and technology.
  • Ensure coaching and training is aligned both to the individuals personal development needs and business needs.
  • Maintain a systematic training and coaching approach to support resources achieve higher skills, capabilities, competencies and expertise within suitable and achievable timeframes.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in senior operations leadership with P&L accountability.
  • Education: Bachelor's in business, engineering, logistics, or related field; MBA/PMP/Six Sigma/Lean preferred.
  • Skills: Understanding of sub-function roles, continuous improvement (LEAN, 6Sigma), business architecture, regulations (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, TAPA), project management, team leadership, excellent communication, analytical skills in logistics and supply chain.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing Power Platform solutions.
