Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelors degree, Post Graduate Diploma or
    Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or
    Instrumentation).
  • At least 5 years of experience in plants design, preferably in chemical
    process plants.
  • Senior level would be considered for those with more experience.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for junior positions.
  • Strong SHEQ knowledge and ability to enforce SHEQ requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and must be able to identify and solve problems
    quickly.
  • Ability in working closely with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Well-versed in international codes & standards and local regulations.

Job Descriptions:

  • Developing engineering document such as P&ID and Layout Plan.
  • Conduct engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or E&I) equipment sizing.
  • Review engineering documents submitted by consultants, contractors or
    vendors.
  • Participate in Hazard Studies such as HAZOPs and JSA.
  • Prepare RFQ documents including equipment datasheets and purchase
    orders.
  • Prepare contractor/vendor quotation evaluation and recommendation.
  • Scheduling and tracking of contractors/vendors progress, quality control and
    reporting.
  • Attend equipment inspections and factory acceptance tests.
  • Prepare and compile standard operating procedures and equipment
    operation manuals.
  • Site installation supervision and inspection works.
  • To provide technical support to Operation team during plant start-up and
    commissioning works.
