MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes decisions about what a store or chain purchases and helps negotiate the cost of the goods for the store.
  • Determine the price that the store sells the goods for in order to make a profit.
  • To develop customer wants based on attractive assortment and pricing.
  • To set department budget and manage for GP, Inventory ad sales to achieve it.
  • Promotion planning (weekly and monthly).
  • Research, analyst and interpret market trends, data and translate it into sales.
  • Accurately forecast and manage products levels.
  • Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with purchasing/buyers.
  • Make good relationships with suppliers on win-win situation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business / marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Good command of MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Able to thrive in high-stress and fast-paced environment.
  • Good communications in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Data analytical skills.
  • Commercial sense and good negotiation abilities.
