Job summary

The Customer Service Specialist (Japanese Speaking) will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our Japanese-speaking clients. This role involves resolving customer inquiries, offering product and service information, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The position requires effective communication skills in Japanese and English and a deep understanding of our products and services.

Job responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in Japanese and English.
  • Provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions.
  • Document and track customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Identify and report trends in customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Assist in developing customer service policies and procedures.

Job requirements:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively.

Education:

  • Diploma or equivalent.
  • A degree in a related field is a plus.
