Audit Manager

Our client offer a wide range of services, including accounting and business outsourcing, tax advisory, corporate secretarial support, business consultancy, and wealth management. The company serves a diverse clientele, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to public-listed companies and high-net-worth individuals. The company has grown significantly with over 400 employees across 17 branches in Malaysia.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage assurance engagements by creating audit strategies with partners and executing them in accordance with firm rules and standards. Lead complicated audit procedures and teams.
• Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan and change it as appropriate.
• Coach and develop individuals by sharing information with team members and assisting them in gaining experiences that promote technical abilities.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and give comments.
• Maintain collaborative ties with other assurance teams.
• Create and sustain long-term, fruitful client connections and networks.
• Collaborate with audit colleagues to identify developing control concerns and promptly report them to the partner.
• Supervise audit engagements and keep partners informed of their status.

Job requirements:

• Preferably Mandarin speaker.
• Min 5 years of audit experience in an outsource firm with 2 years of managerial experience.
• Experience with an established big or mid-tier audit firm background.

• 1 position based at Pandan Jaya, KL
• 1 position based at Desa Jaya, Kepong
• Newly expanded roles
• To guide 12 people with the assistance of 2 Assistant Managers, reporting to Partner (same for both branch)
• Basic salary up to RM12,000 + HP reimbursement RM100 + Petrol reimbursement RM500 + Medical insurance covered
• Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Portfolio size: 350-400 SME
• No outstation travelling
