Diesel Mechanic - Mining & Construction - KZN

Our client, a leading provider of plant and equipment hire to the mining and construction industry, is seeking 2 skilled Diesel Mechanics to join their team. With a focus on large open cast mining operations, you will work with Excavators and Dumptrucks ranging from 30t to 50t.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair trucks in a reliable and efficient manner.
• Perform regular inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and resolve mechanical issues.
• Provide breakdown services with quick thinking and effective problem-solving to minimize downtime.
• Ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Trade Certification.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
