Enterprise Systems Specialist - Mining - Northern Cape

Our client, a leading organization in the mining industry, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Specialist to join their team in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking information and system/process performance, ensuring data integrity, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. A strong proficiency in Power BI and SQL reporting services is essential for success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the information flow and interfaces to and from various systems used by different departments, supporting strategic financial performance management.
• Clarify questions related to data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets, offering actionable insights that drive tangible impact.
• Compile, distribute, and interpret business information using specialized tools to assist business stakeholders in making informed decisions.
• Manage and administer databases, including JD Edwards and performance management systems.
• Provide system management and support to ensure smooth operation and functionality.
• Oversee system integration and reporting to ensure data consistency and accuracy across platforms.
• Develop and validate databases, ensuring the integrity and quality of data.
• Optimize systems and business information processes for improved efficiency and performance.
• Facilitate user training to ensure effective use of systems and tools.
• Ensure adherence to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) standards and regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• B. Degree / B. Tech Degree or Commerce in Business Informatics (NQF level 7).
• Diploma in Business systems / Business information.
• Minimum of five (5) years operational Information systems / Business informatics experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years operational System integration / data integrity experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years SQL Script development experience.
