Mechanical Draughtsman - Mining, Engineering North West

Our client is seeking a qualified and experience Mechanical Draughtsman to join their dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create detailed product designs aligned with specifications
• Develop precise drawings for manufacturing teams
• Provide technical support during production
• Collaborate with design engineers from concept to completion
• Ensure quality assurance in all detailing work
• Assist with product development and project documentation
• Liaise with Workshop and Engineering teams
• Supply drawings and information as needed
• Communicate across departments to resolve issues
• Meet deadlines consistently

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mining, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Office 365
• Proactive, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Basic understanding of engineering, design, and mining principles
• Ability to thrive under pressure with great attention to detail
