Site Supervisor - Mining & Construction - KZN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee site operations, ensuring the successful execution of large-scale mining projects while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities on large open cast mining operations.
• Ensure that all site operations adhere to safety standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with plant operators, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and minimal downtime.
• Lead a team of on-site personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and delivering quality service.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the mining or construction industry.
• Must have obtained the Examiner Makesafe qualification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mining operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues efficiently.
