Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Vision and Strategy Development: Strategize and conceptualize a tangible vision and growth strategy for the business.
  • Target Achievement: Deliver operational and financial targets while ensuring safety, productivity, asset integrity, and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Cost Optimization: Optimize costs through operational excellence interventions across mining, mine planning, beneficiation, and logistics, utilizing Mine Development Operators (MDO) and business partners.
  • Logistics Excellence: Bring innovation and excellence to a multi-modal logistics environment, catering to domestic and export requirements by maximizing volume movement through road, rail, and ocean.
  • Revenue Maximization: Maximize revenue generation by identifying and accessing freight-friendly markets for the sale of iron ore.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong stakeholder management to ensure business growth and sustainability.
  • Leadership in ESG: Provide leadership in implementing the ESG framework at the location, ensuring zero harm.
  • Digital Transformation: Champion digital interventions to enhance operational productivity and reduce man-machine interface.
  • Talent Development: Groom and nurture young high potentials to assume significant roles within the organization.
  • Business Growth: Commit to growing business volumes multi-fold by focusing on growth projects.
  • Industry Engagement: Engage with industry peers and bodies to influence and develop industry-friendly policies.

Qualification & Eligibility:

  • Education: BE/MBA with 15+ years of relevant leadership experience in a similar industry.
  • Experience: Appropriate experience in Liberia is advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strategic mindset, and analytical approach.
