Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Engineering Secretary / Personal Assistant to join their Engineering Team. This role will be based at their Head Office in Potchefstroom, North-West Province. The successful candidate will support critical mining projects, provide essential administrative support, manage schedules, handle documentation, and facilitate stakeholder communications to ensure seamless project operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for the engineering team.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including reports and close-out documents.
- Coordinate communication with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Assist in preparing presentations and correspondence for project updates.
- Ensure compliance with administrative processes and confidentiality requirements.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in engineering or mining environments.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiar with South African mining industry practices is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
