Project Engineer - Mining - North West

Our client is seeking a qualified and skilled Project Engineer, who will oversee technical project aspects, from design to implementation, ensuring alignment with operational goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams, to ensure project success. In addition, prepare detailed close-out reports to document technical outcomes and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and implement technical solutions for mining projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Monitor project progress, technical specifications, and timelines.
• Prepare and present comprehensive close-out reports for all projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mining, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project engineering experience in the mining industry.
• Strong technical and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within specifications.
• Knowledge of South African mining regulations and safety standards.
• Professional Engineer certification is a plus.
