JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Store Manager bears the overall responsibility for the profitability of the chain store. He/she performs store-level supports functions, such as customer service, scheduling, handling day-to-day operations, cashiering, closing of the till, ordering inventory and back office support.

Job Description

  • Plan roster for operations staff
  • Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the store are properly executed
  • Effectively manage recruitment, lead and manage employees, oversee operations, handle customer complaints, and generate financial/ cost reports
  • Manage, direct and coordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and effective manner
  • Maintain a high level of customer service standards
  • Provide coordination and services for both kitchen and service
  • Perform inventory checks and product ordering
  • Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is always well represented
  • Provide suggestions or develop a new SOP to improve operations and employee duties for the betterment of the customers
  • Coach and conduct training for quality and efficient operational excellence
  • Communicate daily and act as a liaison between operations staff and management
  • Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment
  • Develops personal growth opportunities
  • Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of working experience in the Retail / F&B industry is required for this position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Retail/Food/Beverage Service or equivalent
  • Ability to commence work immediately highly advantageous
