JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Store Manager bears the overall responsibility for the profitability of the chain store. He/she performs store-level supports functions, such as customer service, scheduling, handling day-to-day operations, cashiering, closing of the till, ordering inventory and back office support.
Job Description
- Plan roster for operations staff
- Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the store are properly executed
- Effectively manage recruitment, lead and manage employees, oversee operations, handle customer complaints, and generate financial/ cost reports
- Manage, direct and coordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and effective manner
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards
- Provide coordination and services for both kitchen and service
- Perform inventory checks and product ordering
- Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is always well represented
- Provide suggestions or develop a new SOP to improve operations and employee duties for the betterment of the customers
- Coach and conduct training for quality and efficient operational excellence
- Communicate daily and act as a liaison between operations staff and management
- Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment
- Develops personal growth opportunities
- Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of working experience in the Retail / F&B industry is required for this position
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
- Preferably Manager specialized in Retail/Food/Beverage Service or equivalent
- Ability to commence work immediately highly advantageous
