DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES GUEST EXPERIENCE

Welcome all guests, processing registration accurately in adherence to brand standards Build and maintain positive relationships with all guests and anticipating their needs Act to address these needs to exceed their expectations Recognize opportunities for guest interaction Create a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external guests Champion hotel brand standards Delivering prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction

Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information related to the expected arrival and departure of VIPs and other key guests, or other special guest needs Creating a memorable farewell for Club Hotel guests Maintaining the lounge to ensure its clean and properly maintained

FINANCIAL RETURNS Assisting with cashiering duties, such as foreign currency exchange Promotion of hotel outlets and available services

PEOPLE Encouraging guests to enroll as Hotel Rewards Club members or Hotel Ambassadors Handling assignment of rooms for Club Hotel guests and ensuring rooms are ready for arrival Assisting with the F&B operations of the Club Lounge including the preparation of specialty coffees and teas Familiar with cocktail preparation and service of alcoholic beverages such as wines, beers, spirits, etc. Plan for, prepare and execute conference services, exclusive business meetings, or private dining when required Working cohesively as a team to create memorable guest experiences Perform other duties as may be assigned by Director of Club Hotel Maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene, grooming and appearance

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS Adherence to all hotel policies relating to Health, Food Hygiene, Security and Fire Life Safety as well as emergency and evacuation procedures Timely reporting of hazards, near misses, or non-compliance through appropriate channels Active contribution towards hotel efforts on conservation and waste reduction Compliance with governmental regulations and data privacy requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Vocational studies in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent, or experience in front office / club lounge operations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Front Office Systems.
  • Possesses problem solving and organizational abilities.
  • This job requires ability to perform the following: Frequently standing up for a long period Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds Usage of a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc. Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages and variances Ability to travel to attend workshops, specialized training and/or certifications, etc. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays Ability to work on rotating shifts
