Position: Interim Manager Home Care based in Hull

Affinity Care Recruitment are looking for an Interim Manager for a well established Home Care provider in Hull. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Manager to oversee our home care operations for a short term contract. The Interim Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our home care services, ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care management and a passion for delivering exceptional care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of our home care services, including scheduling, staffing, and client care plans

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of home care staff, providing guidance and support as needed

- Conduct regular audits to ensure quality and consistency of care

- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of home care services

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for clients

- Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new home care staff

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care and staff performance

- Handle any client or staff concerns in a timely and professional manner

- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of home care operations

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our home care services

Qualifications:

- Previous Registered Manager experience/ Deputy Manager in a Home Care or Care Home setting

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in home care management

- Strong knowledge of home care regulations and policies

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

- Exceptional organisational and time management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
