Are you a passionate leader who thrives on making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to take the reins of our new 2-bed children's home in Huddersfield. This is your opportunity to lead a team, foster positive change, and create a nurturing environment where young people can flourish.

About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will have full autonomy over the day-to-day running of the home, with a focus on providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for children. Your leadership will be instrumental in helping them develop essential life skills and independence. You'll also play a key role in ensuring that every aspect of the home meets high-quality care standards, in line with Children's Homes Regulations.

You will:


- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to create a warm and friendly home.
- Oversee care and education plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Promote a positive culture, where both staff and children feel valued and empowered.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain Ofsted ratings of "Good" or above.
- Organize team schedules, facilitate training, and access the right services to enhance the care provided.

What We're Looking For:


- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards it.
- At least 2 years experience managing an Ofsted-rated children's home.
- Experience working with children and young people displaying challenging behaviours.
- A full UK driving license.
- Strong knowledge of current legislation, including The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and the Children's Act 1989 & 2004.
