Affinity Care Advisory, part of the Affinity Care Group, is a leading advisory firm committed to helping care providers meet the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory bodies, especially the Quality Care Commission (CQC).
You will be working hand-in-hand with our commercial team who will be winning business and keeping you busy! So a keen commercial eye to uncover any additional opportunities would be desirable.
As we continue to expand our services, were seeking a dedicated and experienced CQC healthcare specialist advisor to join our growing team. This position is fully remote, but occasional visits to our Norwich headquarters would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed and tailored CQC registration support, assisting new and existing providers in navigating the application and registration processes.
- Conduct mock inspections and audits to assess compliance with CQC standards, identifying areas for improvement and creating action plans for clients.
- Support businesses facing compliance challenges by providing crisis management assistance, offering strategic guidance to restore compliance and improve operational standards.
- Prepare clients for CQC inspections by conducting thorough reviews and providing comprehensive feedback and advice.
- Deliver development to healthcare providers on CQC regulations, best practices, and improvement strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in CQC legislation and communicate these changes to clients, ensuring they remain compliant with the most recent standards.
- Build long-term relationships with care providers, acting as a trusted advisor in their journey toward sustainable and compliant healthcare services.
What you will have:
- Healthcare Experience: A solid background in the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on care services, nursing homes, or residential care.
- CQC Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of CQC frameworks, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in handling compliance challenges, developing action plans, and providing crisis management support.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to conduct in-depth audits and inspections with a keen eye for regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will be working closely with a range of clients, so clear communication and the ability to build trust and rapport are essential.
- Self-Motivated: Comfortable working independently in a remote or field-based role, managing your own schedule, and delivering results for clients.
- Residential Care/Nursing Home Expertise (preferred): Experience working within or supporting the residential nursing home sector is a distinct advantage.

- Healthcare: 3 years+

- CQC Regulation: 3 years+
