Residential Support Worker | Redditch | Salary £22000-£25000

We are currently recruiting for three Residential Support Workers for a well known and brilliant company that focuses on Children's Care within Redditch.

Residential Support Worker Role

Under the supervision of the Registered Manager or other competent person participates in the safe and efficient delivery of care to Residents and provides flexible support services within the Home as required.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Educated to GCSE level (Grade C or above) 
  • Commitment to undertaking NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People
  • At least 21 years of age, and at least 4 years older than the oldest child accommodated in the home.
    Interested in the care and welfare of others. Able to handle difficult situations with empathy and
    consideration. Retains confidential information. Able to develop close but professional relationships. A good
    listener.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills
  • Training/certification in: First Aid, Food Hygiene, Fire Safety; Child Protection; IT, HIV and Aids, Care and Control
