Registered Manager Domiciliary Care
Location: Manchester
Salary: £36,000 £42,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, On Call duties
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care in your community? Do you have experience leading teams and managing care services in a domiciliary setting? We're looking for a compassionate, driven, and experienced Registered Manager to lead our team and help grow our care services.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive, person-centred culture for both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
- Supervise, support, and develop a team of care professionals through regular training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure care delivery is safe, effective, and tailored to individual client needs through robust care planning and regular reviews.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in line with legal and organisational requirements.
- Handle safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incidents professionally and promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Recruit and onboard new staff, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care or a similar setting.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, health & safety standards, and care protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective care plans.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
