Job Opportunity: Registered Care Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000
Contract: Permanent | Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Bingley (In-Person) | Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead the launch of a new residential care provision, This will be the second home our client has opened this year. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment that sets children on a path toward a brighter future.

As the Registered Care Manager, you will:

  • Take the lead in ensuring the homes Statement of Purpose aligns with its ethos and aims, with regular reviews and updates.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Children's Home, including safety, staff rota management, and effective service delivery.
  • Manage a team of care workers in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that are outcome-focused and regularly reviewed.
  • Foster excellent outcomes for young people in their physical, psychological, emotional, and social development.
  • Drive compliance with regulatory standards, oversee inspections, and manage policies and procedures.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to build a highly skilled and dedicated team.
  • Work closely with social workers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic support for each child.
  • Ensure financial budgets are effectively managed to deliver value-driven services.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, including supervision, appraisals, and staff development for at least 1 year.
  • A Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (desirable).
  • A passion for making a difference and ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and empowered.
