Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE with performance related incentives.

About the Role: As the leader of this new therapeutic children's home, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young people while supporting their growth and development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Create a supportive, positive environment that helps young people thrive and reach their full potential.
  • Communicate effectively with both residents and staff to address needs, concerns, and challenges.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, guiding them to enhance their skills and career development.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners to provide educational and career opportunities for young residents.
  • Uphold our core ethos of prioritising the well-being and development of young people in all aspects of the homes operation.

Requirements:

Experience of working in a Senior or Strategic Role within a children's residential
care setting

Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Service or equivalent

Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role in a
Residential Children's Care Setting

Worked within Ofsted inspection framework

GCSE in Maths and English at C Grade of above

Knowledge of Child Protection & Safeguarding

Ability to drive and holds a current driving licence

Desirable:

NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Children's
Services or equivalent

Knowledge of the Children Act & Children's Homes Regulations

Understanding and knowledge of Therapeutic Approach to Childcare
