Deputy Manager Children's Home | Burton Upon Trent| Salary £28000 - £30000

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a well known and brilliant company that focuses on Children's Care within Burton Upon Trent.

Deputy Manager Role

Responsible to the Homes Manager in providing effective leadership and for the safe and efficient management of the Home. To be responsible for leading and managing a team of residential workers whilst on shift, taking full responsibility for managing the establishment, (including the staff, the resources and the fabric of the building) and the welfare of the children and young people in the absence of the homes Manager.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • The Deputy Manager is expected to have two qualifications:
  • 1. A qualification, at least to QCF Level 5, or equivalent,(or be on and
    working towards) in the area of care they are responsible for.
    2. A management qualification at least at or equivalent to NVQ Level 4.
