Project Manager - Industrial Computing
Job Description:
AdvoTek Recruitment is sourcing a Full-time Intermediate Project Manager for our trusted client in Cambridge, Ontario.
The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days onsite and the flexibility to work remotely for two days as project requirements allow.
You will be crucial in supporting the technical project management activities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of a renowned Industrial Computing company. They are an award-winning designer and manufacturer of specialist computing platforms tailored to meet the unique requirements of various applications, regardless of complexity or environmental demands. Their expertise ranges from mobile tablets and boxed computers to complex racks and innovative IoT platforms. With a focus on reliability, comprehensive support, compliance guarantee, and maximizing longevity, it overcomes the limitations of commercial computing.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the progress of projects and set appropriate deadlines.
Effectively solve any issues that may arise during project execution.
Ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate the performance of projects, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with teams to set up project plans for large computer/tablet orders.
Ability to lead ISO audits and engagements.
Follow product certifications from inception to certification dealing with outside vendors.
Manage QC to ensure documents and procedures are followed and up to date.
Health and safety policy and procedures management
Utilize the Waterfall Methodology to manage projects efficiently.
Typical project duration may range from 3 to 6 months.
Attend weekly management meetings to provide updates on project progress.
Requirements:
3-5 years or more of relevant experience in Project Management
Proficient in utilizing the Waterfall Methodology for project management.
Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome challenges effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of industrial computing platforms will be an advantage.
