Role Objective

The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating and testing a comprehensive digital platform, including chat systems (WhatsApp, SMS, email, and other messaging channels), back-office applications, API services, and third-party integrations. This roles main mission is to guarantee that every component of the platform meets technical and business requirements, ensuring stability, scalability, and exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for multi-channel messaging platforms (WhatsApp, SMS, email, etc.).

  • Validate end-to-end workflows across chat systems, back-office applications, and API integrations.

  • Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of the entire platform ecosystem.

  • Test and validate third-party API integrations, webhooks, and data synchronization processes.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous validation across all systems.

  • Validate administrative functions, user management, and reporting features in back-office environments.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve platform-wide issues.

  • Monitor performance metrics and generate comprehensive quality and stability reports.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and partner integration requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.

  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of web application testing, database validation, and microservices testing.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing.

  • Familiarity with messaging platform APIs (WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, email services).

  • Understanding of third-party integrations, real-time data synchronization, and back-office systems.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing enterprise-level, multi-channel integrated platforms.

  • Knowledge of cloud services testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure validation.

  • Experience with performance testing and compliance/security validation.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data flow validation.

  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
