SAP Full Stack Developer

Our client is a mining multinational dedicated to the extraction of minerals, based in Europe. They have operations all around the world, several of them in Chile and Peru. They are currently seeking a SAP Full Stack Developer to support the growth and development of the global Copper Portfolio to be based at their South America office in Santiago, Chile or Lima, Perú.

Mission:

The person in this role is responsible to provide Level 3 support to site super users and end users, perform system changes and configuration, and maintain documentation up to date. Understand the true business need of a client. Architect, implement and support the need using SAP. Strong understanding and application of the SAP development lifecycle. Reduction in technical related issues and problems. Effective business stakeholder management skills. Extensive experience and knowledge of ABAP from a technical perspective. Thorough understanding of SAP S/4 architecture. SAP technical related risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed; accepted, mitigated, reduced, or transferred. Demonstration of a continually improving level of ABAP/Fiori/Integration development quality across SAP. Ensure that the responsibilities and duties surrounding security / and systems processes are upheld in accordance with the company frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for gathering technical requirements and the subsequent design and development of technical specification documents.
• Provide technical solutions to support business/functional process improvement within S4Hana Modules.
• Collaborate with project and support teams.
• Collaborate effectively with key subject matter experts to resolve issues around the business processes.
• Support SAP functional team in developing proof of concepts to showcase functional solutions to the key business partners and subject matter experts.
• Design, code, unit test and implement S4Hana solutions using current best practices.
• Provide user support and training of subject matter experts on new functionality.
• Document requirements, business process maps, project plans and training materials from technical perspective.
• Collect and interpret business requirements (e.g., functional and technical, information needs, business processes) through information-gathering sessions.
• Analyse information gathered, document business requirements AS-IS and map to TO-BE models.
• Prepare functional & technical specs as per business requirements.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• SAP Certification.
• S/4 Hana Experience.
• 8 years expert knowledge of ABAP.
• 4+ years knowledge of Fiori UI5, Integration and Cloud Technologies.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ABAP OO.
• Experience with SAP modules such as FI, CO, PS, SD, MM, PM.
• Integration experience using IDOCs, SOAP, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with ODADA ODATA and CDS development.
• Knowledge of BTP, including CPI.
• Knowledge of SAP AIF.
• Understanding of SAP security including SAP GRC.
• Familiar with workflow design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience delivering SAP upgrades: SPAU and SPDD.
• Detail oriented and able to work both independently as well as collaborate with functional and business users.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels.
• Global, cross-cultural work experience
• Advance english level.
