Our client is a group from European capitals whose main activity is in the fields of generation and distribution of electricity, natural gas, oil, and renewable energy. With more than 200,000 employees, it is one of the largest utility companies in the world. One of their branches performs Consultancy and applied Research and Innovation (R&I) projects on the whole electricity value-chain, including the fields of power generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and end-use, with a focus on energy transition and the 3 Ds: decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization. Recently their Consultancy and R&I branch opened a new positions for a Regional HR Partner. In this role you will be responsible for introducing structure, discerning needs, suggesting solutions, and ensuring effective implementation.
As the primary HR contact, some responsibilities will include:
- Strategically align team compositions with business needs, ensuring the right blend of skills and bringing perspectives to the local team.
- Adhering to the standards set by the People & Organization Team, implement people-centric processes and projects within the America branch.
- Foster feedback-driven and continuous learning for lasting employability within their Business Line.
- Together with local management, craft an annual plan targeting specific future skills.
- Mentor individuals for personal and career growth.
- Anticipating business needs, ensure team member employability through upskilling and reskilling.
- Oversee capacity planning for the local team, playing a key role in regional productivity
- Guide the regional team's Performance Management process, which includes goal setting, reviews, and evaluations, and engage in the People & Expertise Review.
- Follow up on the KPIs the HR team sets and deal with people performance issues.
- Launch initiatives to improve the employee experience.
- Mediate well-being concerns and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Partner with the Headquarter staffing team to optimize regional staffing.
The desirable candidate shall have proven leadership, emphasise feedback learning and lead by example, be passionate about developing people and teams, and experienced in technical people management. Has to be skilled in creating structure and managing data (timesheets, capacity) and making clear reports, be team-oriented, customer-centric, reliable, and results-driven. Has to uphold utmost confidentiality and integrity. Must be fluent in English and interested or experienced in industrial environments.
The position is located in Las Condes, Santiago de Chile, and is hybrid, meaning the candidate can work from home two days per week.
