Our client is a Venture Capital backed, well-funded SaaS startup in Singapore. Tackling the complex world of employee management, and they are taking on an ambitious mission to become the operating system of modern organizations to help their customers automate administrative workflows and create the single source of truth of employee records.

They are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be involved in the end-to-end delivery of our software product. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our DevOps practices, shortening the system development life cycle, and providing continuous delivery with high software quality. The job scope also includes deploying product updates, and identifying production issues. You will work closely with the Founders, Tech Lead, and engineering team in building and delivering a product that users love and can rely on.

Responsibilities

• Influence a DevOps culture within the team
• Maintain and upgrade Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for our services
• Maintain and upgrade automations required to improve code logistics from development to production
• Assist developers in instrumenting code for system observability
• Maintain and upgrade deployment platforms
• Maintain system infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Perform system administration and IT duties

Requirements

• Have working experience with at least half of our stack or minimally with similar technologies
• Have 2+ years of experience in system administration or platform engineering (commonly known as DevOps)
• Be obsessed with automation, preferring to automate over doing things manually
• Have a good awareness of cybersecurity practices to keep the platform safe from bad actors
• Adopt a proactive approach to system upgrades
