Main Responsibilities

• Understand Customer requirements and participate in creating technical designs and solutions
• Develop interfaces between third-party airport systems & Airport IT product suite (AMS) to meet client's requirements
• Troubleshoot and fix post & pre-production issues effectively in multiple environments
• Responsible for driving technical solutions and reviewing technical designs
• Develop high quality code that not only meets the requirements but also meet all non-functional criteria such as performance, error handling, corner cases, security
• Provide technical leadership to team with a focus on timely deliveries with highest quality

Other Responsibilities

• Supporting other teams such as QA team, Release Management to ensure timely delivery to customer.
• Adhere to software programming best practices
• Review code written by peers as needed and come up with improvements
• Perform effective developer testing of the code
• Follow organizational development process diligently
• Deliver code to QA and follow up to confirm complete resolution
• Maintain a positive team spirit. Practice Team Work to ensure positive environment across teams and departments
• Participate in Documentation, E.g. for creating Interfaces Control Documents, Technical designs, Release note, Knowledge Base Articles etc

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, or any other streams
• Minimum 5 years of hands on coding experience in Java
• Excellent Analytical skills is a MUST
• Experience in Groovy languages, , JEE, Apache Camel, JBoss, ESB products is desired
• Familiarity with data exchange protocols e.g. Restful APIs, Kafka, Active MQ, Ftp/Sftp, TCP/IP etc. is highly preferred
• Experience with Software Design is highly preferred
• Experience is requirement gathering is highly preferred
• Knowledge about Airport and/or Airline industry operations is preferred
• Ability to work on multi-cultural environment
• Ability to deliver quality software with minimum guidance
