Our client is a privacy-focused technology company that has built a portfolio of privacy products ranging from VPN to private second phone apps, ensuring users safety across every touchpoint online. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to join their  team in building robust systems and solving infrastructure challenges in the VPN space.

Responsibilities:

• Work with state of the art technologies to solve genuine, real-world problems
• Implement services and SDKs needed for our VPN product
• Design and architect innovative, modern solutions
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
• Work with frontend team to fine tune existing APIs
• System architecture design
• Collaborate with other developers to innovate on our internal platform, shared components, libraries and development toolchain
• Development of backend services and infrastructure in quick iteration cycles
• Working closely with product team about design and technical implementation
• Interaction with a global team - from our offices in Singapore to San Francisco and Paris

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong C/C++ development skills
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures and algorithms
• Passionate about coding, innovation, and solving challenging problems
• A strong knowledge of VPN solutions (Site-to-site VPN, Client VPN, SSL VPN, Peer to Peer VPN)
• A strong understanding of OS fundamentals
